The above mares are being fostered by us at this time.  They were surrendered to CMHR in October of 2007.  Sara is a 35" silver dapple mare and is ten years old.
Chocolate is Sara's daugher.  She is a silver mare that stands at 35.50" and is  six years old.   Foaled in March of 01.    Neither of these mares are registered.
They are both foundered and require a special diet along with supplements.  They are not to be on pasture at all and need a home that is experienced with founder.
They are both stable at this time and are very happy and playful.  They really need to be re-homed together as they really love one another and I believe it would cause them alot of stress to be separated.
They are available for adoption to an approved home.  BOTH HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!  THANK YOU!
We have many more in need though so please visit the CMHR Website at

CMHR is a wonderful organization dedicated to saving miniature horses from neglectful situations along with working with people on an individual basis in the event of a surrender or simply just to educate folks on miniature horses and their care.
I am very proud to be CMHR's  State Coordinator for Michigan.  If you know of a horse in need please feel free to contact me anytime.  Pictured below are two beautiful mares that came to CMHR through surrender circumstances.   Sara and Chocolate have both found their forever home.
